ABOUT THE OWNERS: Jordan and Carla Hukee, partners in everything. The yin and the yang. The stubborn and the more stubborn. Willing to worry every last bone in the name of better design. Graduates of the University of Washington School of Art, refugees from the rain of Seattle, and dedicated pursuers of clean, clear design.

ABOUT THE NAME: Norwegian in origin, Hukee is one of the rare names made longer on Ellis Island. The original spelling was Huke, deemed too difficult to pronounce by 1890’s immigration standards, and so the second “e” was added. (Hukee rhymes with cookie)

ABOUT THE STUDIO: Founded in Venice Beach, California, and recently relocated to the mountain vistas of Salt Lake City, Utah, with quick and easy access to good coffee and the great outdoors.

WHAT WE DO: Our studio offers a wide range of graphic design services (logo/identity, print, web and product design). Ideally, we establish relationships with each client and develop unified creative directions for every company we work with.
